Newspaper Pots, All day activity
Using newspapers to make pots for seedlings is a great way to recycle newspaper, keep trash out of the landfills and to use as compost for your garden. These recycled newspaper pots are relatively easy to make and make transplanting seedling to the garden very easy.
 

SATURDAY, May 1

Seed balling, all day activity
Learn to make seed balls. Have fun making one-half inch diameter models of the living world. They are cost effective, hundreds of times faster to plant-just drop them in the soil and wait for them to grow. Seed balls can be made by anyone anywhere in the world where there is soil and seed.

SUNDAY, May 2

Plant a Pot, All Day Activity
Who needs a yard when you can grow practically anything in a container? Growing your plants in pots provides you with more options then planting them in the ground. The sun not quite hitting the plant, move the container to a different spot. Pots and containers are portable, which can be a big advantage.
